DESCRIPTION:  Certified Residential Specialists Instructor Certification Workshop    A subject that many of us could improve upon and a few instructors have asked about, is what I like to call: One E-mail Address for Life™.    It is the concept of your e-mail addresses value to promote your website and have consistent branding. Many feel that having e-mail addresses such as Mark@Yahoo.com, @Hotmail, @AOL or even @franchise, are unprofessional for a real estate business and worse, inconsistent with your website branding efforts. E-mail addresses from Internet Service Providers (ISPs) such as @comcast, @RoadRunner and @Verizon have the same bad reputation. ISPs as well as real estate franchises both can hold you hostage in the name of offering up a free e-mail account. These old accounts should be thrown away, at least over time anyway.    The cure; owning your own domain name consistent with your web strategy and branding; creating your “Cool” e-mail address; setting up your Smartphone, e-mail contact management program and webmail to get your mail; and forwarding the throw away e-mail accounts and changing marketing materials to reflect you new account.    If you are interested, I want to help you with this!  If you gather information like log-in and passwords for all of your e-mail accounts and domain name management, bring a computer with your favorite e-mail contact management program installed, my favorite is Outlook, be ready to learn the way to do it properly and set a good example for our student, I will help you in Chicago on August 9 at 10:30am!
