Students
Outlook E-Marketing Strategies is not your ordinary class.  To ensure the greatest possibility of success, we actually implement what we learn in class while the instructor is there to help.  This is a “hands on” course.  Come prepared!

To ensure you will be able to start class with the rest of the students please do the following well before the day of class.

  1. Bring a fully functioning notebook or laptop computer and power supply with functioning WiFi.
  2. Have Microsoft Office version 2003, 2007 or 2010 installed and windows updates updated. (A 60 day free trial of Microsoft Office 2010 can be downloaded at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try/)
  3. Bring your login and passwords for all e-mail accounts, domain name accounts and website accounts.
  4. If you have it handy, bring a power strip and extension cord in case the facility has a limited supply.

If you do not have access to a notebook computer or laptop, you may share.  We suggest sharing only with a “tech savvy” attendee.  All attendees must pay the required class fees.

The facilities need to be conducive to a hands on training class: ie extra space between rows so the instructor and students can freely move to assist, access to power and wireless Wi-Fi internet access.

Course Testimonials

Thank you, I learned what I came for.

Mark Porter recently provided to half-day outlook training sessions to the staff of the Council of Residential Specialists. It was unbelievable how much information he was able to communicate to us in the relatively short amount of time he spent with each group. Mark not only got us up to speed with all the features and functions Outlook offers, he did so in an entertaining and easy to understand way. When he first suggested a three-hour program for each group I was concerned that the staffs attention would state, and focus would be lost, long before the three hours were up. Conversely to that, not only were they not board, they were actually bright eyed, enthusiastic and ready to put into practice what they have just learned. Many expressed regret that the time went so quickly and articulated their desire to attend future classes if possible. Mark provided a wealth of useful information, many shortcuts and numerous tips and tricks in an entertaining manner. I can't praise him highly enough for both his in-depth knowledge of the subject matter and his delivery of that information. I can say unequivocally that if the need for training ever arises in the future I would hire him again in a heartbeat. As you can see from the survey results, everyone felt pretty much the same way about the experience.
